Choose your appearance
Use Appearance in the website navigation or the app sidebar. Choose Light, Dark or System. System follows your device, including changes while SupportWhale is open. Your choice is saved in this browser and remains after signing out. A different browser or device can have its own choice.
Your customer widget
Open Settings → Widget and choose its appearance. System follows each visitor’s device; Light and Dark stay fixed. This setting belongs to the workspace and applies to its widget wherever installed. Your brand color and logo stay the same. Custom CSS overrides can affect contrast, so check your customer-facing chat after changing them.
Mobile apps
In the iOS or Android app, open Settings and choose Light, Dark or System. Your choice is saved on that device. System uses the device appearance automatically.
